Mission: Where No One Has Gone Before
Crew,
We are celebrating Thanksgiving at Bersallis III with all who survived the recent global event that almost wiped the colony out of existance. Bersallis is providing the meats and desserts. The Aldrin is bringing side dishes and everyone is allowed to bring ONE dish only. Please look in the sim room and in general for those who have called dibs. The meats will be several slow roasted turkeys, several geese, a few ducks, two entire deers, two entire cows carved into steaks and ribs, and a few pigs carved into hams and chops. They have all been cooking for several days and put hot in stasis for when it's time to serve, and since they all had a gracious rest period, they will all be extremely juicy. For desserts Bersallis is providing several dozen pies of all kinds from pumpkin, sweet potato, pecan, apple, cherry, peach, lime, lemon, banana cream, coconut cream, chocolate cream, and peanut butter cream. Several dozen cakes are also provided including black forest, pound, angle food, cheesecake, boston cream, hummingbird, baklava, and spice. There are also a goodly hundred weight of cookies of all kinds and homemade ice creams of various flavors including Miguel's special "Rose Petal Confetti Ice Cream". Bersallis will provide some of the Ramirez label wines, lavendar sparkling wine (AKA champaign), brandies, and bourbons. Christof will also provide kegs of his beers, ales, meads, and whiskeys. There will also be fruit punches, fresh pressed ciders, juices, mulled wine, and hot drinks like coffee, hot chocolates of various flavors, and wassil.
There will be dancing, fire pits and plenty of seating, good music provided by Christof's DJ. Bring your side dishes and appetites and be ready to celebrate. Take the opportunity o relax a little because next week, Sean Darnell will be leading the sim and posting the game plan and who knows what will come from his fertile imagination.
