Lt Sineade Darnell Sineade finished putting up the dampeners as quickly as possible, but she was concerned for her friend. She kept looking over at Flower and knew that this was really affecting her and not in a good way.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Lt. Flower is still at her post, holding her head and letting out meows of sorrow. What would her crew think of her if she gave a set of codes to the voice.

● Ensign Oelh Joy Tsuruchi Thinks about throwing a boot at her but decides those are for Sean she limps over and wraps an arm around her. "Ignore it listen to the voices of the crew not that other garbage."

Lt Sineade Darnell ::looks around and without asking the captain she whispers to Joy:: Ready Room! ::and heads in that direction::

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Flower glared at Joy, "Soan wasn’t garbage! He was one of the best Navigators at the academy!: she hissed at Joy.

● Ensign Oelh Joy Tsuruchi Scowls back at her, "not saying he is garbage women I’m saying using him to get you all flustered is Garbage. Come on lets go to the Ready room."

Lt Sineade Darnell You're right Flower, he just might have been the best, but this? ::points to the coms:: This is garbage, this is not Soan.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme "We trained together at the academy..."

Lt Sineade Darnell ::nods:: And I am sure you were good friends too, ::puts an arm over Flower's shoulder and sort of guides her to the ready room where they can talk in quiet:: You always seem to make friends. Not like me!

●● Lt. Flower Sheme If I had the spirit to slap you I would. But yes, we were best friends... and security cadet partners...

Lt Sineade Darnell ::raises her eyebrows:: Why would you slap me? I was stating a fact!

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Because you are always putting yourself down tinker!

Lt Sineade Darnell I am not! I am complimenting YOU! Geesh! And now that I've made you angry, lets talk about this little problem of ours, shall we? Why would SI use that particular person's voice against you?

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Because I still blame myself for not saving him during a real mission in our 4th year as cadets

Lt Sineade Darnell ::wonders why Joy isn't piping in and where Teay is because she is soooo out of her element right now::

● Ensign Oelh Joy Tsuruchi Trying to isolate the comms in the room, won't doesn't cause flower to kill them.

Lt Sineade Darnell Joy, can you scan for any devices that should not be in this area? ::turns to Flower:: Ok, so you feel guilty that he died and you didn't. I get that. But you can't let that control you.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Flower let out more cries holding her paws, I don’t let it control me, I know he’s dead, he’s not waiting for me to come to him.. I saw his body with a hole in his chest. I watched as the torpedo carrying his body was launched into the sun.

Lt Sineade Darnell ::looks at Joy for help and keeps her arm around Flower:: That had to be very hard on you. Being a healer and a protector. I can't imagine the sorrow you must have for this loss. But Flower, in your heart you know he wouldn't have done something like this, just like B'Rait wouldn't. It's that.. overly precise female SI Admiral. I get the feeling she's not.. human or even humanoid, but some kind of mean machine!

●● Lt. Flower Sheme I don’t know.... I wasn’t a healer for long at the academy It was hard to not break down in meows

Lt Sineade Darnell That's because you have a kind heart, Flower. By the way, did you see how that woman never looked at her glass when she picked it up or put it down, in exactly the same place? I'm telling you, she's not what she appears to be!

●● Lt. Flower Sheme I was too busy blushing thinking of Rait during the debriefing

Lt Sineade Darnell ::nods:: her way of distracting you from seeing it, no doubt. Now, why don't we take a seat. Tell us about Soan and why SI is trying to freak you out with this?

●● Lt. Flower Sheme ::sits down sorta:: I don’t know how they would use Soan against me. Other that to keep me from seeing the bigger picture

Lt Sineade Darnell ::nods:: and that they think they can make you break. But you, my friend are stronger than they could ever realize.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Sometimes its hard to be as confident as you Tinker. Especially now I was so shaken, I couldn’t do my job, I almost asked to be relieved of duty. Flower found herself just meow about Soan without many more cries of sorrow

Lt Sineade Darnell ::raises eyebrows:: Flower, the only thing I am confident in is engineering. Well, that and the belief that Tholan isn't peeking at me in the shower.Although I can say that I haven't been tempted to do just that to him.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme I will admit, before I met Rait... I did have a little crush on the Andorian Soan

Lt Sineade Darnell ahh, so he was a love interest and not just a friend. And then B'Rait came along and Soan was back in the friend zone. ::pauses a moment wondering if she should ask, but really needing to let Flower to get this out of her system:: Flower, do you want to tell me what happened to Soan?

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Flower nodded sadly, "As I said, we were on a real rescue mission, and these damn Sythinions came out of nowhere, somehow beamed thru our shields, and aimed their phaser at our Commandant of the academy. Soan jumped up and took the shot, and was killed in the line of duty..

Lt Sineade Darnell ::nods and gives her a hug:: Soan sounds like a very brave man. And there was no way you could have prevented what happened, Flower. None!

●● Lt. Flower Sheme It still hurts...and hearing his voice just froze me. Flower tries to purr her content, but cant seem to purr

Lt Sineade Darnell ::begins to pet Flower without realizing she is doing it:: A loss like that is hard. I don't know if we ever truly 'get over it' as they say. More like it hurts, but not all the time. ::glances over to Joy for a little help and wonders what happened to the Counselor::

●● Lt. Flower Sheme Flower was feeling more of the mild sedative that she was given on the bridge when she first heard the voice, and lays her furry head on her friends lap

Lt Sineade Darnell ::smiles at Flower and continues to stroke her fur:: Rest, my friend. I am here for you.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme but I..have..a..job...to do..." she said each word slowly

Lt Sineade Darnell Your job right now is to get some rest, Petal Girl. You deserve it. The ship is still safe. You didn't break.

●● Lt. Flower Sheme I almost did. Flower drifted into a restful sleep

Lt Sineade Darnell ::whispers:: Almost does not count, my dear friend. Not by a long shot!
