Mission: Shake Down Mission

Crew,

This week, we are pausing our wargames to celebrate Thanksgiving. We have a feast planned and everyone has been asked to bring something. Please do NOT bring anything that you were not assigned. This is NOT a competition about food knowledge, this is for friends to each participate and enjoy eating and talking together, not trying to out do each other and showing off. So please, bring only what we discussed. So here are the assignments for those who forgot. Some have been asked to bring more and some less for many reasons, some didn't want to do a lot and some wanted to do a little more. I tried to accommodate everyone to a degree.

Meats - Turkey, Ham, Prime Rib, Turducken, and Oyster Stew - Nightwing
Stuffings and Stuffed Pumpkins - Teaya
Appetitizers - CJ
Cooked Vegetables - ch'Fairia
Deviled Eggs - Dean
Cheddar JalapeƱo hominy - Kara
Potatoes and Gravy - Mardel
Juniperberry Pudding - Flower
Salads - Morgan
Breads - Daniel
Desserts - Sineade and Sean

If there is something that is missed in this list, please PM ME personally and we will talk about it. If there is something you want to bring that is NOT in your category or assignment PM ME personally and we will talk about it. Do NOT just decide to bring something that is not your assignment or category.

The party will be in Paradise with the hull retracted so we can eat under the stars. The lighting has been adjusted so it will be like eating by candlelight as well. Tables and chairs are set up with two to six chairs at each table. There are also blankets spread on the grass if you want to eat picnic style and you can have as many as will fit on the blanket join you. All Drinks are provided by an unknown benefactor and include juice punch, alcohol punch, champagne, beer, wines, non-alcoholic slushies, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, ice water, various fruit juices, milk, chocolate milk, etc.

All utensils and plates/bowls/platters and glasses/cups/mugs/steins/etc for eating are also provided and won't be paper or plastic, but the good stuff and don't worry, it isn't easy to break. So come and enjoy our friendships and give thanks for all the wonderful things we each have in our own lives. We could all use the hope and love and laughter during this time. Happy Thanksgiving week.
