Mission: Refit and Restock
Location: Star Fleet Post
Timeline: Hours before leave begins.

It had been a few weeks since Simon had met the Captain and had had taken time in the office that had been afforded to him whilst the ship was undergoing a Baryon sweep, whilst that was happening, Simon had been using the time to place the requisition to the Stardock’s Quartermaster, but he had another pressing issues to deal with like his scheduled visit to the Counselor.

After exiting the office, Simon had taken a stroll around the garden in the vicinity of Starfleet Headquarters to take a break from the paperwork, However having glanced upon his Chronometer, Simon noticed that it was getting near to the time of the appointment and turned to hurry back towards the building.

Teayana had one more appointment before her shore leave was to take place. She still had several others to do but Mardel had assured her she had time and to take at least a full week of leave. Her last appointment was a new crew member Lt jg Simon Hunter.

Although Simon had yet to finish sending the orders for restocking the Aldrin Stores before they returned to active duty, he also knew that he had to make sure that the ships systems were in full working ordered before he and the Chief Engineer could put there names to it.As Simon reached his destination, he knew that this could be a long afternoon as he pressed the buzzer.

Looking at her Chrono he would be here soon and she was as ready as she would ever be but she was also excited for her week of getting lost. PADD ready and tea in hand, she set it on the table between the couch and her chair. Just then the chime alerted. "Enter"

As the Door opened and Simon entered the plush office, he said “Lieutenant Jg Simon Hunter reporting as ordered Ma’am,”as he waited to be asked to sit down, although still annoyed at the missing Stores, Simon hoped that this wouldn’t take long so he could continue his investigation and the missing Items. But one thing he did know that it was required of him to be here.

"Good afternoon Lt.; I'm Lt. Starr. Have a seat, may I offer you a beverage?" She stayed close to the replicator in case he wanted something to drink.

“Yes Please, May I have a Coke,” replied Simon as he hadn't had a drink in the last few hours and was parched,still at least for a few hours he was out of the office. As he waited to be seated, Simon looked round the room taking in the soft colors this was a nice looking room. He finished,” And Good afternoon to you too,” as he gave her a smile.

Lt. Starr turned back with an iced Coke for Lt. Hunter. "Here you go" smiling at him softly. "How are you settling in around here?"

“I’m fine Counselor and Thank you for the drink,” replied Simon as he knew that having time to sort out the ship’s stocks and ready for the Quartermaster to check upon arrival, He continued,” Although I haven't had the chance to visit my folks as of yet due to getting the ships Stores in ordered before the sweep is finished,” as he took a sip of the ice cold beverage.

"You're welcome." She nodded politely to him. "I think you'll have time to visit as the refit and upgrades will take several weeks." Taking a sip of her tea, setting the cup back down and picking up her PADD. "Tell me about your last tour."

“Well, for Starters we fell through a dimensional rift in Time- Space and met up with female version of myself called Simone and that was fun,” as he took a sip of the cold beverage, he continued,” and her roommate tried to get me and bed,”

"And how did that make you feel seeing a feminine version of yourself?"

“At First it was a shock but then I found it a learning curve for the both of us”replied Simon looking back at Lieutenant Starr,” we both found out things that we didn't know we did,” he continued as he gave a smile, he finished,” and as for Alison, her roommate well?” as he stopped and gave a short smile.

"Would you say this was an eye opener for you or do you think you had personal conflicts" Teaya took a sip of her tea. She could see from his expression he was carefully considering his emotions and thoughts trying to pull them together into words.

“What with Simone?” he asked looking back at the Counselor “or do you mean Alison?”As he remembered the busty female OPs Officer, he continued,” She did everything to try and get me and bed with her,” as he remembered the night that he got stuck on Simone's version of the ship when the transporters failed.

She mentally shook her head. "I was referring to your female counterpart Lieutenant." She tapped out a few notes on her PADD as she waited for his response.

Simon looked back at the Aldrin’s Counselor and continued after taking a sip of the drink again,” Oh no, we got on like a house on fire, like a brother and Sister would,”he stated,” It was Simone who told Alison to knock it off until Alison walked and the room one night in her birthday suit,” as he finished speaking and leaned back in the chair that he was sitting on.
“Although I have never slept with a woman as of yet,” replied Simon as he took a sip of his drink, he continued”and that’s because I have been to busy,” as he knew that although Alison had flaunted herself at him, He didn't know what she wanted until Simone had explained to him.

"Interesting" was all she could think to say at the moment. "Are there any other incidents that have happened that have affected you that you would like to share?"

“How do I know when a woman is interested in me?” he asked her as he wanted pointers as all he had been doing was focusing on his Career and nothing else, but he had to do something and work on that part of his life.He asked her,” And would you help me?”

Teaya worked hard to keep her emotions in check. Not sure if surprise or humor would win out by his questions. "Lieutenant"said carefully. "If you're interested in a woman, you ask her to dinner or for coffee. Get to know each other. If she likes you she will let you know. As for helping you find a girlfriend, no I won't help you. I'm not the ship's matchmaker."

After some enlightening conversation and not taking, Teaya dismissed Lt. Hunter. Once he was gone, she wrote up his report. Her final diagnosis was he was fit for duty, however he needed to fit social time into his schedule. And that she would make sure would happen. She would only need to talk to Mardel once they got around to talking about evaluations which would be after R and R.
