USS Aldrin Game Plan

Crew,

We are in orbit around Gamma Ventris IV. We have set the planet on quarantine and we are not sending an away team down. We are waiting for samples to be beamed up in quarantine force fields. Medical and Science are working together to find answers.

So far, all we know is that there are small pockets of people who have not been effected yet and we don't know why yet. But the space bacteria has gotten into the water supply of the entire planet as well as into the soil and the food supply. It appears that the only animals left alive on the planet are the big predators and like the people living there, they have also been changed.

We are not yet sure how they have been changed, so we have to figure that out as well. Starfleet Medical and Science have been told of those cloud of bacteria and are trying to find it and trace it, to figure it out and how to neutralize it.

Tonight, we will get the samples back and will be able to look at them, They are in the highest level of quarantine force fields so that all study is done with waldos or mechanicals. We also have the room set for quarantine and those who work on it must wear protective environmental suits. The rest of the crew will be working on repairs to the ship from the Syndicate trying to mess with us.
