Crew,

At the beginning of sim, we will be arriving at Gamma Ventris IV. They are a long time colony that is part of the Federation and called for help when a planet wide disaster befell them. The ship has been repaired completely and everyone on Alpha shift are heading off of duty. Beta will achieve orbit in about 3 hours after the start of sim.

So, it is the end of shift, do the change over, and enjoy a little time off and the Captain is holding a meet and greet in Starlight Lounge, aka Ten Forward. There is a buffet dinner set up as well as an open bar. It will be casual, and yet I do expect you to meet at least one new person at this meet and greet if not more of them. We have Lieutenant Christof Ramirez, Chief Ops Officer; Doctor Ensign Lily Marlow, Chief Medical officer; Ensign Muraco, Chief Engineer; and Ensign Allyson Dutcher, Chief Science officer.

There are instruments in case someone wants to play something, as well as a jukebox to dance with. I am looking forward to it.
