USS Aldrin Game Plan

Crew,

We are about to enter the coronosphere of the star nearest us and taking with us four of the Orion ships. As they don't have the shield that we know of, they will be destroyed. We have also destroyed another three of them. But there are still overwhelming numbers of them out there. And those unknown vessels are still attacking who they think are the enemy. I am hoping they see we are not the enemy here.

While we are in the protection of the sun, we need to repair any damage to the shields and weapons and allow them to recharge before we head out again. We also need to call in back up from Starfleet. Let them know the Syndicate has amassed a rather large attack fleet on our borders here and will need to be repelled. Maybe we can also devise a way to talk to the unknown beings the Orions are attacking.

Meanwhile, in the brig, Pyle and Teaya are questioning the prisoners. They were all male and now highly demoralized with the death of their leader. The other Orions got the message that the Aldrin takes no prisoners and will deal with aggression with aggression as the body of the leader that beamed over was tumbling through space and then imploded by one of the Orion ships.

How Mardel feels about the current situation is unknown as she is stoic as usual in such scenarios. But those on the bridge knows from her actions that she had to kill another Orion female. But her mood is somewhat mild, so they might not have all clued in on it yet.
