Crew,

We are caught between a rock and a hard place and the fire is burning hot. We are fighting several Orion ships and then the ships we have never encountered before fired at us both. We are kinda in a bad situation at the moment. Who is in this unusual ship? Why would they fire on us? Why were the Orions firing on them? Many questions.

We are at red alert and so far shields are holding. We've destroyed one of the battle cruises belonging to the Orions. And there are a LOT of Orions. To me, it seems like they are here to wipe out this race for some reason and we want to stop that. Whoever this race is, we need to let them know we are friends and not with the Orions.

Security is protecting the children in the classrooms and daycares. And if anyone attempts to board our ship, they are ready to apprehend them and but them in the brig for questioning. Families with children are secured in their quarters for safety measures. And a program is running so that any scans of the ship show only persons over the age of 25, to protect the vulnerable and the most desirable groups from the Orions.

Everyone else is at their stations, doing what they can to make sure the Aldrin gets through this in one piece. Good luck to us all.
