Mission: Ghost Hunting Season

Crew,

As stated, we have just exited slip stream and are now in orbit above Starbase 395. And automated voice gave us clearance to one of the starship docking ports and there were other ships docked there, but the lights have been either turned off, or were not capable of being turned on. A quick scan shows that only minimal life support measures were functional.

The sightt that meets us when we scan the starbase is shocking. No one is in the command center and it appears that everyone is in a central location, including the crew of the ships docked around the starbase. Life signs are minimal at best. Scans show that all the corridors are filled with a kind of mist or fog and everything is distorted in this concealing vapor. There are bodies we are tripping over and every now and then there is a soul freezing scream from some unknown throat and an answering scream from a more human throat.

We need to get to the center and find out just what is going on. In this mist, don't trust your eyes or ears, tust only what you can see and put your hand on. Good Luck to us all.
