It saddens me to report that the autopsy of.... " Reads name from PADD, "Ensign Thomas Jesen is complete. The Ensign was 24 years and of good health prior to his death. According to his last physical done barely 3 months ago, he was quote "of sound mind and body to meet the regulations for a Starfleet officer." The physical was done by myself Doctor Tholan ch"Faria, and Lt. Sveitlanna Orlinzky assisted as my nurse.

It was an overload of Adrenaline that caused tachycardia, which then led the heart muscles to be stressed and fail. a rupture started in the left atrium and appeared to have burst causing the loss of blood pressure. Leading to the loss of life.

It is unknown at this time if it was self-induced or a matter of foul play, a hypospray mark was found on the left side of the neck just below the ear. The patient was reportedly saying he was seeing things and generally looked "spooked". This could normally explain the higher than normal adrenaline levels but the level was almost 3 times normal.

I did not find anything else in the system that would account for the higher levels, nor did I find anything else. My ruling is that this worth further investigation to determine why the young Ensign died. I am forwarding my report to the Command staff and to Lt Sheme of security."
