USS Aldrin Game Plan

Crew,

As this Monday is Labor Day, we will have two possible outcomes. The first is that sim will go on as usual, and that will depend on how many show up. The second will be a character development sim, which will take place during the 24 hours we are waiting for the Vulcans to arrive. And that is just if only a few people show up, so those who want to can sim. Please leave a thumbs up if you will be there for sure, and a thumbs down if you aren't sure or won't make it on the game plan, so I can have a head count before sim is supposed to start. It's like reacting with a heart or smiley face.

The time between sims was 24 hours. During that time, you have all been able to download the logs from the derelict and have had time to look over them and come to your own conclusions. When the Vulcans arrive, they will want to know what we found in our preliminaries, so they have a starting point. We will have a meeting with their command crew with myself, the Admiral, and the entire away team on the meeting. Then the Vulcans will take the ship and the survivors to do what they can with it.

Joy is still unconscious in sickbay, but there is better color to her now and she's breathing better, like she's asleep rather than anything else. Her brain activity shows normal and no longer the scramble it was when we first brought her back to the Aldrin. Tholan is hoping she will wake within the next few hours, maybe even in time to attend the meeting.

After the Vulcans leave, we will begin our patrol again, this time with scanners set to high so we can hopefully catch the next ship before it becomes a derelict. We have one piece of the puzzle, somehow the Furies are involved. We don't know how yet. So we will also review the records about the times the Federation had encountered them and what the end result was. If they are behind this, then I think they are in violation of the treaty we made with them to leave the Federation alone.
