**Correspondence **
Sineade sat at the terminal in her quarters. The Same quarters that she had once shared with the Man she had thought was going to be part of her life for a very long time. She had converted his side of the quarters to a nursery for the triplets and had taken the opportunity to take holo-images of the three tiny girls and she was now looking at them as she thought about their father, Tholan.
She’d been taken by surprise when she’d heard his voice over coms in the middle of the delivery. She hadn’t even had a chance to talk to him when his coms were cut off. She was not happy that his homeworld had recalled him, and even less happy that they had not allowed them to communicate at all since they made him go home. All her attempts to contact Tholan had been blocked.
But, since they had finally allowed contact from Tholan, maybe there was a chance she could get a message to him this time.
“Computer, prepare correspondence for personal delivery to Lt Cdr Tholan ch'Faria, probable current location, Andoria.” The computer beeped in acknowledgement, and she sat back.
“Hello, my love. Yes, I still think of you as my love, more so now that I have brought your daughters into this world. It has not been easy for me without you, as I am certain it has not been pleasant for you either, not being here to witness this miracle in person. I have attached holoimages of your daughters. All three are beautiful and while it is difficult, I am refraining from giving them names without your input. If I were to select names, they would not be indicative of their father’s heritage. I need your help with that, My love. I really wish you were here to see them. To be a part of their lives and to teach them about that side of their ancestry.”

Sineade sighed and rubbed her neck, “I miss you, Tholan. Even if we didn’t have the girls, I would want to be with you. I just hope this message will go through. All of the others I have sent have been ‘returned’ without any explanation. I just pray that you are safe and will be able to return to me at some point. As always, you have my heart.”
Sitting forward slightly she called out, “Computer attach holoimages of the Girls numbers 1 through 11 and send to LtCdr Tholan ch’Faria.
Sineade moved to the room where the triplets were sleeping and sighed. “Well, let’s hope your father gets that message,” she whispered as she leaned on the door to look at her infants. Her eyes drifted to look out at the nebula surrounding them and she just felt so sad. After a few minutes she took Mardel’s advice and lay down to rest and hopefully this time, not cry herself to sleep again.
