The ground continued to shake violently under her feet. Sineade turned to Flower, "How are you doing with that?"

Flower was still holding the spanner in place, but felt it was slipping in her paws, “I am okay so far.”

"Just hold it a little longer," Sineade replied, grabbing onto an outcrop to hold steady as she continued to try to weld the pieces together. This was only the first of the damage and it was taking way too long to repair. "I hope the Klingon's are having better luck," she mumbled aloud.

“Attempting to Tinker. Please hurry,” Flower meows

Sineade nodded and concentrated on the task at hand. "Once we finish this one we have to scan for other damage."

“Okay. What do you think the damage is from?” The spanner slipped in her paws and was out of place.

The bar moved and instead of strengthening the support Sineade accidentally cut it, "Crap! That's not good.

“Sorry! It slipped!”

"Not your Fault, Flower. But now we have to start all over." Sineade grabbed the cut rod and re-positioned it and began the weld, feeling the heat in her fingers as she held it in place. "Grab it as quick as you can, It's getting hot."

Flower helps again, feeling the hotness on her pads.

Sineade let's go of the hot metal, leaving some of the skin from her hand behind, "That is gonna hurt later."

“Good thing your partner can use a dermal regenerator. I feel I will need a treatment myself.” She purred.

Sineade held the welder carefully and spot welded the bar as quickly as she could. "This should hold for now, but we need to move on. We are running out of time. That took way too long."

“Then let’s make the next repair quicker.”

"Let's hope it will be easier to get to, as well," Sineade said as she scanned the area for the rest of the damage that needed to be repaired.

Flower looked at her hand, “Perhaps I should patch you up first.”

Sineade just kept going, "No time, we have to hurry!"

Flower runs beside her. “Okay just be more careful. “

Sineade ran to a large smoking apparatus and began pulling off one of the panels for access, wincing each time she grabbed at it with her burned hand, "Help me with this, we have to reroute the power conduits in here."

Flower helps her as she also lets out painful meows. “I got it.”

Sineade looks at Flower with a frown, "If you are hurt, take care of it now. I can do this part, not enough room for more than two hands, or paws, anyway"

“Okay,” Flower conceded without argument. She placed the panel down and started to mends her burnt paws.

Sineade pulled out the conduit, pulling at the burning wires with her already burned hand. She pinched her mouth closed against the pain and cut them short. She pulled at another series of wires and began to splice the two together. "This should hold for now." She sat down and held out her hands, looking at the blisters forming before her eyes.

“Ready for Nurse Flower?” She asked teasingly.

Sineade smiled, "I think that might be a good idea."

Flower held the comrade’s hands with gentleness as she treated her.

Sineade smiled, "You know, Nurse Flower doesn't sound so bad. You are a gentle healer. Although I know that is not your calling."

“I already told you that my paws couldn’t hold a simple tricorder during the academy days. “ Flower finishes treating him.

"You could always have one modified for you," Sineade said, "There are plenty of other who have done that."

“Maybe. All patched up Sinny,” she purred again with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Sineade smiled, "I'm so gonna kill Sean for that! Come on, Petal Girl, We have more work to do."
