Mission: Shake Down Mission
Location: Executive Officers Quarters

Everyone had to sleep, even him. As they still had the time in the nebula before a plan was established, Dean went ahead and at least went home. That way he could see Teaya, eat, do something with her, take a nap before getting back to it. Coming in and shedding the tunic. “Sweetheart, you here?”

Not knowing when Dean would be in, Teaya went to take a shower after she had finished cooking supper. She put it in the warmer hoping it would be long before he came in.
As she was finishing up she heard him call out. "Be right out or you can join me if you dare."
Smiling secretly to herself hoping it would be the latter.

Obviously he was back sooner than she had thought he’d be. Giving a peek at what there was for dinner first, Ooo….meat lasagna. She already knew him that well. Then moving towards the sound of her voice. She really should know by now not to dare him with that, or a number of other things depending on what they were. Of course he was going to strip down and move into the bathroom.

“Why do you ask a question you already know the answer to, my love.”

She giggled as she turned in his arms, "Because I know how to get what I want? Besides I've missed you terribly." She slid her arms around his neck teasing the short hairs at the base of his skull with the tips of her fingers as the water rained over them.

“Oh is that what it is huh?” He leaned into her fingers playing with his neck and kissing her softly. “I missed you as well and I’m sorry. You know what we’re doing, but at least it's just war games and not real. Enough of that though.”

Teaya held one hand under the automatic spout for shampoo then brought her hands together and began massaging the shampoo on his scalp as she washed his hair. "I think you need to relax my dear Commander" said with a teasing smile.

Dean leaned into her hands more, closing his eyes. “I am relaxed, but I know of other ways we can make that happen.”

Continuing to massage his scalp as she directed the spray to rinse his hair. Once finished she planted a tender trailing kiss across his chest. "Hmm and what might that be?"
She then got soap on her hands and began washing his neck working her way across his shoulders.

Actually, since they were facing each other, he could do the same for her. Reaching for the soap and applying it slowly to her body, from the neck down. “I think I’ll show you after dinner.”

"Mmm… So I guess the vanilla ice cream and cherries jubilee will be going to the bedroom. I like." Smiling slyly she continued washing his chest and abdomen the put her arms around him to do the same for his back.
There was a nod given. Being careful with certain parts of her body as to not over stimulate them, or her for the moment. “That would be the idea, mi corazon.”

"I think we better rinse off before supper dries out because we skip straight to dessert." Holding him close to her a moment longer contemplating and opted for extricating herself from the hold they had on one another. If she didn't the lasagna would be ruined, not to mention she hated wasted food.

“I suppose we should. You know however.” Kissing her bare shoulder, “That doesn’t mean that we have to put clothes on after all.”

"I have our robes hanging in the linen closet. Hot food… um we need robes at minimum."
Teaya shut off the water, grabbed her towel and stepped out of the shower.partially dried, she tossed Dean a towel. She then wrapped her towel around her wet hair and slipped on her robe. "Meet you in the dining room." Teaya quickly exited the bathroom to set supper out while Dean dried and put his robe on.

“Yeah but we don..” Dean didn’t finish the sentence. He wasn’t going to win that anyway. So he grabbed the towel out of the air and worked on drying off, working with his hair. Shaving before he came out to join her.

Teaya set the bowl of salad on the table as Dean appeared. "You look a little more refreshed. Just need to get the rolls from the warmer. Will you pour the wine please?" With that she slipped around the corner and grabbed the rolls from the warmer. "These smell so good."

“Sure,” doesn’t even bother to sit down yet in that case. Getting the bottle, opening it and pouring it into the two glasses. Setting it down and waiting on her to sit.

She sat across the table at the same time she put the rolls in the center of the table. She dished up her salad, then the lasagna and roll. As Dean piled his plate as usual she took a drink of her wine. "How did the rest of your shift go?" Her stomach growled softly as she took her first bite.

“It was fine, some good ideas going around about how to fool them and get out of the nebula,” taking a drink as well after a few bites of everything.

"That's good to hear. Mardel did not have all her test back by the time I left but she and I did have some good conversation. While she took a nap I got some of my own work done." Only a few more bites of food and she was finished. She had forgotten lunch and figured she would make up for it now, but she just wasn't that hungry. She was distracted otherwise.

“Well that’s good. At least the ones that did come back already obviously weren’t anything bad it seems like.”

"Good. How many were still out when you left the bridge?" Teaya fidgeted with her wine glass as Dean ate.

He gave a little chuckle, “No, I meant Mardel’s tests.” Giving a smirk, “There are still the three out there.” Giving a glance at her hand and the glass. “Are you alright?"

She smiled slightly nervous. "I'm fine. Are you finished or are you still hungry?"

“Are you sure?” Shaking his head and getting up to start clearing off the table.

"Yes, I'm sure." Teaya got up to help him. After taking her glass and plate to the kitchen she kissed his cheek. "You got this, I thought I would go light a couple of candles."

“Yes, I’ll finish up here and join you, love.”

Slipping off to the bedroom she laid the dagger out on his pillow and sprinkled a few flower petals on the bed then lit the candles. It took a lot for her to make this decision. What was the worse that could happen. She then slipped into an emerald green silk nighty.

“I put the rolls and rest of the lasagna up for later,” said on the way towards the bedroom. He’d certainly finish them later. Stopping once she was in his view. “Oh wow.” Moving over to her and kissing her, then his eyes caught the bed and the dagger. “Is..is that?”

Teaya raised her eyebrow as she watched him. "The dagger I had made? Yes." She paused nervously. She was shaking internally. "Dean…" she looked up at him then swallowed her mouth very dry. " Dean, will you marry me?" She let out her breath not realizing she was holding it.

If it had been a different question, he might have been his usual self and left her hanging for a moment. It wasn’t a different question. There was absolutely zero hesitation, “Yes. Yes, of course!” Grabbing her up quickly into his arms and kissing her deeply.

Tears welled up in her eyes. She gladly returned his kiss. Trembling from head to toe it was done and she was worried he really would say no. She knew him well enough that he liked being the ultimate male in the driver seat of the relationship. While she was welcomed to be herself and they share in the duties as they were at home, but he did like being the man. She almost giggled and swallowed it as she was ecstatic.

He did have that alpha male thing going a lot of the time, however, who did the asking he didn’t care about. At least this way, he knew she was ready and he wouldn’t be the one being told not yet. Dean knew that no was never going to be the answer, just the not yet part. Well that was out of the way. Now it was certainly time to consummate the occasion.
