Crew,

We are returning to the ship this sim. At the beginning of the sim, everyone is back on the ship, but we are still in dry dock. Please read the joint log that Commander House and I did discussing some of the updates you will find. Some of those updates are all consoles throughout the ship now has holographic displays and interfaces that you can toggle on or off as you wish. Another is that all departments now have the symbol of that department painted on the walls near the offices, labs, and work spaces of those departments.

Also, all crew quarters have been remodeled. What this means is that if you are a senior officer, you get a suite with a minimum of 4 distinct rooms, meaning living room, kitchen, bedroom, and office. The bathroom is included in the bedroom suite. You may also add a dining room, second bathroom, and second bedroom if you chose. If you are a junior officer, then your quarters are smaller and in some cases shared. I will let you pick if you want share quarters or not. If you pick a single, that is fine as well. Shared quarters will have two bedrooms, one for each crewmember, kitchen, living space, and office cubbies with a shared bathroom between the two bedrooms. If you pick to live alone, then you get one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living space, and small office. You get to pick the colors and decor. Please write a log detailing how your personal quarters look and the special amenities you have picked for it.

Please use this sim to explore the ship, your department, and some of the amenities of the ship, such as one of the three arboretums, either of the two lounges, or boardwalk, the entire deck filled with shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. You can also talk about duty shifts and such. And at the last five minutes of the sim, we will get the clearance to depart dry dock and head out.

I can't wait to see how you do your personal spaces, how you enjoy the upgrades and remodels and changes. If I missed anything you want to see, please send me a message, don't just assume you got it and I will give the yea or nay on if you get it or not.
