USS Aldrin Game Plan

Crew,

I have written this three times and each time I’m almost done, I hit a key and it all goes poof. This is just a taste of what my weekend has been like. My entire family, meaning myself and my sons, came down with the stomach flu and as long as it only lasts 24 hours I should be okay to sim tonight. We will keep our fingers crossed that all goes well cause I am tired of the purging my body seems to want to do on a regular basis.

So for tonight, we have to do a little back story. The counselors from the Excelsior have been sent back to the Excelsior on a fast shuttle with an escort just in case. We have arrived at Earth and the Councilors have been taken by Starfleet Medical for a full evaluation. After debriefing them, they asked that those on the away teams from both ships along with the helmsmen needed to get through the asteroid field undetected should all get commendations. They also asked that the two Orion women who lead the teams be given high honors for keeping their cool no matter what they faced and got the job done no matter how unpleasant it was. Starfleet Medical questioned them and Commodore Connor about the brands and how to treat them and when told what to do, they were skeptical until Admiral Sylver showed them her brand and told them how Commodore Connor had saved her life after she got away and that Commodore Connor was completely correct in how to deal with the brands.

Starfleet Medical also looked over Commander Star-House. After going over her records and a private consultation with Commodore Connor, it was decided that a miracle happened somehow and the commander would stay on the ship with her family and under the care of Commodore Connor, to come back in six months to see how her healing has progressed. They also supplied her with a chair when she was ready to transition from a bed to mobility until she could relearn how to walk again after the nerves had a chance to heal and repair themselves.

The Aldrin has not been offered shore leave, but have been given a new assignment. The new Thailonian Empire is in chaos as Si Cwan, the leader was murdered by his partner from the rival empire. We have been sent into see what we can do help calm things down before we have another war with them. So, we are now headed to sector 221-G to see what we can do and report back to Starfleet about what is truly going on. Good luck to us all. We are going to need it.
