Mission: Ghost Hunting Season
Location: USS Aldrin
Timeline: TBD

Sineade still wanted to figure out how they were transported back to the Aldrin. Both the Vulcan ship and Aldrin’s transporters had not been used so it had to be from somewhere else. She grabbed a scanner and went back into the ready room hoping she could get some residual trace from her arrival there only minutes ago. The readings on the scanner were limited so she went back to the bridge console and plugged the scanner in for further analysis.

Something did not quite add up. She looked at the data as to where each of the away team reappeared on the ship. “I need to check on something,” She said as she pulled the scanner and rushed off the bridge. Her first stop was the mess hall, where Daniel had reappeared. The scan showed the same thing, then she ran to the holodeck where Kara was deposited. Again she got the same thing on the scans. Her next stop was down in engineering, where Tholan was left, and again the scans repeated the same information.

Sineade took the scanner and went to her office, not even bothering to scan medical. She kept getting the same residual reading and she was certain that wouldn’t have changed for Sean’s return location either, and besides, medical probably had their hands full again. She studied the data from all the scans and ran them through several times to confirm what she had found. First was the fact that there were interphasic isotopes was extremely concerting. And then there was the signal decay that indicated that, where ever it came from it wasn’t close, it almost looked like... well, a signal from another time. Even as recent as it was there was that level of degradation, if that was even possible.

She put all this down on a padd and then went back up to the bridge to show Mardel what she had found. What it had to do with everything else going on she hadn’t a clue, but someone was really messing with them now.
