Mission: 2nd Star on the Right....
Crew and Roddenberry Guests,
We have had our face to face meeting with the Dwallans and found them to be pacifists to the point where they don’t even argue with each other over anything. We have met some of the council as well, and they each represent some form of art. After discussing some options, they agreed that a defense system would be a good idea and are putting their minds to creating one from what they have, but they don’t even know what a defensive system is or what it should entail. It should be interesting to see what they come up with. They have also offered to take our wounded and care for them while we are in battle and after battle they have offered to let our crews have shoreleave on their planet. They also informed us that all but the few councilors we met have moved underground, whatever that means to them. We don’t know.
Both the Aldrin and Roddenberry crews are complete again as those left on Kabarris have been brought back and returned to their ships. A ship from the Core of Engineers has now taken over the Kabarris project.
Now we have a small fleet of four very large dreadnaughts from the lygrians heading toward us at warp 4 and will reach us within the hour. One the other hand, coming from the other direction is another small fleet of five Starfleet vessels: The USS Comanchero, an Akira Class vessel, the USS Paris, a Sovereign class vessel, the USS Integrity, the only Galaxy class vessel, the USS Lothlorien, the other Akira class vessel, and last the USS Fragglerock, the other Sovereign class vessel. They are coming toward us at warp 6 and should be to us within 30 minutes. But we still have to see who gets to us first and who gets within weapons range first.
So on Monday, we will be joined by the whole crews and I’m really curious to see how Targus reacts to the Lygrians and the Dwallans. It also looks like we have a fight on our hands, but who will be the victors? And will the ships coming from the Federation be ready to deal with the Lygrains projectile weapons? Will the modifications that we made to our ship’s weapons be enough to make the Lygrains think twice about messing with us. Join us on Monday to find out and come with ideas, cause it’s gonna go fast.
