Mission: 2nd Star on the Right....

Crew,

This is going to be a slightly different Game Plan than normal. We are doing a Joint Sim with the USS Roddenberry. Which means both crews need to be at both sims on Monday at 10:00 PM ET and Tuesdays at 8:00 PM ET. We need both crews to move the story forward. If you can’t make it to either sim, you need to let us know, either the Aldrin’s host team or the Roddenberry’s host team BEFORE sim. That is just good sim etiquette and shows respect for the rest of players, which we in the USF stress, showing respect for each other, even through differences.

We are in the Dwalla System, which is not on the map of the Alpha and Beta quadrants as it is about a week at warp 7 away from the closest Federation System. The system has a yellow sun and 9 planets. There are people living on Dwalla II, III, and IV, as well as on the moons of Dwalla II and Dwalla IV. The other planets and moons show signs of mining and gathering of minerals and materials.

The Dwallan people are superb artists and creative builders. Their cities incorporate the natural world around them, so the cities in the forests look like forests and the cities in the plains look like the contours of the plains and those in the mountains look like the mountain they are built into, etc. They are not warlike and do not have a history of aggression amongst themselves. They have made an alliance with a neighboring system, which I will get into in a moment.

The people are short, the tallest being 5 feet even. The average height it 4’6”. They all have large, bulbous noses and take great pride in their noses. Their hair color is not just the normal blond, red, brunette, etc, but also moves in shades of white, blue, and green, depending on where they live and what their occupation is. Some are miners and some are craftsmen, and they have a natural affinity to the natural world and shaping it into beautiful shapes. Their eye color is also blue, brown, hazel, purple, green, gray, and even shades of yellow, red, and orange. They are able to see in the dark a lot better than most.

They have converted some of their tools into weapons since the Lygrians have started expanding their empire toward them. But they are in no way able to defend themselves against the Lygrians without help.

Their Alliance partners are from the Abostum system and they are called the Zulos. Zulos are an Ursine race that looks like humanoid bears being almost 9 feet tall on average. They are also gentle people who are non-aggressive. They are healers and scientists, knowing more cures and using their natural world like no others. The Dwallans helped them build their cities and towns and the Zulos have helped the Dwallans learn more about the healing plants and such from their planets. They also have no defensive abilities and the Lygrians conquered them
and have made them slaves.

The Abostum system has a white sun and 15 planets, the Zulos, also have warp for a long time and live on Abostum III, IV, VI, and VII along with two of the moons around Abostum VII and one of the moons around Abostum IV.

The Lygrians are from the Lygria system. The system has a yellow sun and 12 planets, with the Lygrians living on Lygria II, III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII, they also live on the moons around Lygria VI, all of them,, and have mined the rest of their system and are looking to expand. They have been a warlike race for their entire history, worse even than Terrans. They have clans and the clans battle to see which one rules for a year before the next battle.

The Lygrains are tall and slender, waif looking, a lot like the Elves in Tolkien. They are haughty and extremely warlike. They do NOT use energy weapons, but have developed armor that defeats energy weapons and their weapons can go through energy force fields and shields.

The Lygrians stand about 7 feet tall on average, with blond, red, and brown hair, they don’t have black hair and the brown hair is not dark brown, it’s light brown. They wear it long with braids in it and the braids show position and honors they carry. They paint their faces fiercely looking like demon masks and their body armor looks like chitin. Their fingers are a bit longer than normal, almost looking like claws. They steal what they want as they are not natural builders or artists, but they have perfected war and weapons and armor. Their ships are space-going battleships, heavy armors and weapons that can destroy planets.

We are in the middle of a battle with one Lygrian ship and we have figured out that our phasers are useless and our quantum torpedoes don’t do a lot of damage, but one shot of their weapon caused a hull breach in the Aldrin. Our shields are all but useless. That is where we are.

Science, we need you to figure out what will work.
Tactical, we need you to do what you can to keep that ship from destroying the settlement on the Moon of Dwalla II and us.
Ops, we need you to do what you can to make sure everything is taken care of, power wise and personnel wise.
Medical, we need you to help tend the wounded.
Security, we need you to help the civilians and off duty personnel into the inner ship, away from the outer hull so they won’t be in too much danger.
Engineering, we need you to keep both ships running as best as possible, as well as work on repairs as they happen.
Helm, you are the star in this, we need you to be doing all the hotshot maneuvers to keep us from getting hit, so be creative and keep us moving target for these guys so we don’t take too much damage, stay on your toes.

Good luck to us all.

Mardel Shayron-Connor

PS: This can also be used for the USS Roddenberry Mission Brief, if you wish, only updated with what we do on the Aldrin.
