Mission: Shake Down Mission

Timeline: Backlog

Teaya woke before Dean and carefully slid from under his arm not to wake him. Once she had washed her face, brushed her teeth and all the other morning necessities, she went in the kitchen, made coffee and put rolls in the oven to have with some fruit. She sat at the bar with coffee and began typing out things they would need to do the coming week for the wedding.

God knows he needed a bit of the extra sleep. It showed, because he should have been up three hours ago. Also doing the morning things, then coming into the kitchen area and giving her a soft kiss. “You’re up early,” said because he didn’t look at the chronometer.

"It's almost 10:00" she said after returning his kiss. "There's breakfast rolls in the oven to have with some fruit and cheese I have ready in the fridge and there's coffee also." Picking her cup up and handing to him as she was ready for a refill. "I realized in the shower last night we still have a bit to do for the wedding."

“What!? Ten? How come you didn’t wake me up, love?” His tone was only that of surprise, nothing more. “I could have cooked,” giving a glance at the oven a moment. “A little bit, yes.”

"I'm not overly hungry but if you are, I will gladly cook something for you honey." She took her coffee from him and took a sip. "We were out quite late last night and we both have the day off remember.

Dean leaned and kissed her again, “I’m not sure I feel like the rolls and the like, not that I don’t appreciate it. We can always have those for lunch maybe. I’ll just use the replicator this time, since we have, as you said, some work to do for the wedding still.”

"I know we are exchanging our own vows, are we going to exchange rings?" She had a ring already tucked away for him but if it wasn't something he wanted she would give to him later.
Getting up, she took the rolls from the oven to let them cool, then made a bowl of fruit for herself since he wanted a heavier fare for breakfast.

“I had figured that we would,” looking to her over his shoulder from the replicator. Still looking through what he might want. Finally finding something that sounded good. “Computer, one Grand slamwich, side of hashbrowns crispy and buttered.”

Teaya only smiled as she listened to him order. "Glad to see last night's fun didn't stifle your appetite any." Teaya picked at her fruit then drank more coffee.

Picking up the plate, he moved over by her and sat down, so he could see what she was looking at while he ate. “Of course not.”

Wild flowers were already growing in the arboretum. She only needed enough for her bouquet… she didn't want them grown and wasted for one day so enough her bouquet was enough and simulated flowers for the rest of the decorations.
NightWing offered to play her harp for the ceremony and they would have can music for the reception, the chef at the salty whistle was making the food for the reception. That was where she was on her list. "What would you add sweetheart?" She popped a grape in her mouth.

Finishing off at least half of his food, then giving a thought, “Well we didn’t really fully commit to the venue look, and I’m not even sure, depending on what we decide if that can be made up using Paradise instead of a holodeck.”

"Hmm .. I'm going to see Mardel later, I will ask her. Are you wearing your uniform or a tuxedo?"

“I figured you’d like me in a tuxedo.”

Teaya got up from her seat and put her dishes in the sink then moved over to Dean's side wrapping her arms around him. "I would love to see you in a tuxedo." She kissed his neck just below his ear.

“I figured you might,” there’s that bit of ego peeking through just slightly. Lifting his hands up onto her forearms. “You hadn’t done that in a couple days.”

" Done what in a couple of days?"

"What you're doing to my neck, sweetheart."

"I'm doing something to your neck?" Teaya grinned impishly. She then positioned herself between his legs where he sat on the bar stool ran her hands up his bare chest to his shoulders. She dropped small kisses on his chin and cheeks pausing when she came to his lips giving him a lingering kiss. "Are you feeling a bit neglected love?"

“I was just enjoying what you were doing to my neck.”

Teaya bent down placing small kisses at the base of his throat working her way up his neck. "I guess I will have to make a note to self to do this more often. I surely can't have you feeling neglected or unloved." Smiling and giving him a wink. "Before we get sidetracked, we better get back to this to-do list."

He smiled and leaned into her a little bit, “Yes, we need to focus first on that.”

A sigh of resolution, because she knew if they didn't stop now it certainly would not get done.
"Let's get dressed and go to paradise and decide from there what we definitively want to do."

“Alright.” Shifting to stand and taking his plate to the recycler.
