1,002 words; about a 5 minute read
Mission:
Shake Down Mission
Location: Personal Quarters
Timeline: Before Klingon party
They had made it to Andor, but not before Mardel had her babies. Two beautiful babies and she was there to assist with their weight and apgar. Soon enough she and Dean would have their time. And best of all they had bested the Klingons and they were NOT happy and that was putting it mildly.
Dean still on the bridge when she left to take a nice soak in the tub before heading to Andor and having a night out compliments of the Klingons. The controlled anger in their voice when they made the announcement still made her giggle.
Once he finally got done with his duties and gave the Bridge over to the next shift he went back to his quarters. Expecting that she wouldn’t be there. Probably still in Sickbay with Mardel. So he was a little surprised to smell the bath having been run. So he went in there first.
"Finished your reports I take? I won't be long. I'm actually getting a little pruny." Teaya had looked at her hand momentarily before reaching for her sponge in the water.
"Since you're here, would you mind washing my back?" She smiled up at him sweetly.
Dean didn’t even bother getting undressed. Just plopped right in with a big splash while still in his uniform. “Yes, I got done, and it’s called a little pruny, love.” Reaching for the sponge.
Teaya giggled and just shook her head. "Dean, seriously honey?" She leaned forward to let him wash her back.
“Sure. Why not. I mean we’re getting married in two weeks.” He really wasn’t worried about a wet uniform, it would dry. Rubbing her back gently.
"Speaking of, do you want us to write our vows or are we going to just do standard vows?" Teaya leaned back against Dean. "You know this isn't near as comforting with you still in your uniform."
He kissed her shoulder and then wrapped his arms around her waist when she leaned back, “I can always take it off. I thought you’d find the move amusing. Also, I already have mine.”
Teaya turned her head to look up at him. "You have yours? When were you going to tell me?"
“If I’m not mistaken the other isn’t suppose to know, or at least that’s how I know it to be done.”
"Honey if you decide we are to write our own vows, of course you let me know. You don't have to share what you write but how am I to be prepared to do the same? You should know by now I don't like being put on the spot and caught off guard that way. I would never think of doing that to you."
Dean was quiet for a moment or two, “I’m sorry. I should have mentioned it.”
Turning her head and tilting it back she kissed the bottom of his jaw. "It's okay, I know now and that's what's important. Shall we get ready?"
“I suppose we should, considering, we don’t want to piss the Klingons off again after the pasting we gave them. How is Mardel and the babies?”
"They were well when I left them. Daniel was just ecstatic with the babies. Poor Mardel was wiped out obviously. She had some complications, but NightWing was on top of it unsurprisingly." Teayana stood grabbing her towel from the warmer and stepped out.
"You may as well peel your clothes off and take a quick shower. I'll get you something out to wear if you like."
Pushing up, Dean gave a look at the sopping wet uniform, “Yeah, I should probably do that.” Starting to strip off, “Whatever you think would look good to match what you’re going to wear.”
"Okay darling." Teayana planted a kiss to the middle of his bared chest before slipping out of the bathroom to pull out clothes for him and to get dressed in the black leather skirt and emerald green silk blouse he bought her while they were on Earth. She applied moisturizer to her body and putting her hair into a braid down one side, applied make-up which she rarely wore before dressing.
Dean came in while she was attempting to fasten the small silver chain that held the white sapphire she fell in love with and he had surprised her with one evening during dinner. Matter of fact, everything she had on this evening was Dean's choices. Oh how she loved this man with her soul.
He’d actually just stood there for a long while watching her. While he would have normally questioned why she was making sure to get so primed up, that was an answer he already knew. It was just how much she loved him and she didn’t have to do that, but wanted to. Dean would never try to show her off like a piece of arm candy, and never expect her to be as such.
If it made her happy to do so and have the chance to flaunt herself as the queen of this man’s life and let everyone know it and that he was hers, she was his, there was no chance in hell he was going to stop her. Catching a breath a moment once she was done, before he actually moved in and kissed her. “I just wanted to tell you how much I love you.”
Returning his kiss, she put her hands on his chest making sure he was dry before leaning in to him(she didn't want water stains on her silk blouse as she would have to change)and looking at him a bit doe eyed. "I love you too darling. Hurry and dress so we can go and get back." She gave him a slight sultry look before winking and stepping back. "I'll wait for you in the living room." Teaya poured herself a sherry while waiting for Dean to dress and join her.
