Personality & Traits

General Overview Sean is generally known by his good sense of humor. He is also known to get very excited whenever a new ship arrives and he gets to take a turn at the controls.
Strengths & Weaknesses Sean is an above average pilot, According to his own assessment. He specializes in small ships but has an excellent understanding of large vessel operations due to large part his interest at a young age. He will tell you he isn’t a helm officer, but will do that if there’s an emergency
Ambitions Sean’s biggest ambition is to be the best pilot he can, even if that mean he sometimes had to fly something a little slower that light speed.
Hobbies & Interests Sean likes to play futball (or soccer). He enjoys playing the uilleann pipes, especially when accompanied by his sister on guitar. Mostly he loves to fly and will often use a holodeck to fly old earth planes.

Personal History Sean was born three minutes after his Fraternal Twin sister (Sineade). Theygrew up in Ireland on the family farm. Their maternal Grandfather would take the two of them along when he visited the shipyards. While there he would watch as the ships would be built but he considered the best part was watching as they were flown. Many of the pilots had become friendly and would often show Sean the cockpits of the ships that were being built. Many a time they would show him the controls of the various ships and explain how they worked. On more than a few occasions he was allowed to tag along with a team that was moving the ships to other parts of the shipyard using workerbees or transport tugs. A few of the pilots even let him take controls when they had to make the return trip.
Service Record Sean was reluctant to join the academy. Instead he enlisted in the pilots Core. But his skills quickly brought him to the eyes of Star Fleet. He was transferred within a year to the academy since all pilots in the Fleet had to undergo this training. Sean excelled in piloting small craft. His skills in maneuvering in small areas brought him to the attention of his instructors and he was assigned to a more specialized training on some of the more advanced smaller fighter vessels after completing his academy training. Due to the nature of his training he was not at liberty to discuss this with his family and was ‘officially’ listed as a transport pilot . Most of his flight training has been labeled as classified once he left the academy. Only those who would be his superiors are given that information. He requested a shipboard position so that he could travel farther that the Sol system. To his surprise, his request was approved and he was given his orders to report to DS9 where his ship was currently docked.
